About BYD Auto Hungary

On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.

Job Description

As a General Specialist, you will support the daily administrative and employee-related operations of the plant, including attendance management, payroll data preparation, employee administration, internal communication, event coordination, and asset registration. You will work closely with employees, managers, and related departments to ensure accurate administration, smooth information flow, and efficient daily operation.

Responsibilities

1. Collect, verify, maintain, and prepare attendance records, timesheets, and related reports to support accurate workforce administration.

2. Provide accurate and timely attendance, employee, and administrative data to support payroll preparation and salary calculation processes.

3. Handle employee administration processes, including onboarding, resignation, transfers, probation or regularization procedures, and related documentation.

4. Support employee relations activities by collecting feedback, assisting internal communication, and helping strengthen team cohesion and employee engagement.

5. Plan, organize, and coordinate company events, employee activities, team-building programs, and other internal engagement initiatives.

6. Maintain accurate records of company assets, including registration, inventory management, tracking, and coordination of maintenance or replacement when needed.

7. Cooperate with related departments, ensure compliance with internal procedures and company policies, and complete other job-related tasks assigned by the direct superior.

Requirements

1. Secondary education is required; higher education in Business Administration, Human Resources, Economics, Communication, or a related field is an advantage.

2. Relevant administrative, HR, employee administration, payroll support, office coordination, or general support experience is preferred.

3. Fluent English language skills are required; Chinese and Hungarian language knowledge is an advantage.

4. Confident user-level computer skills, especially MS Office and email systems; ability to prepare accurate records, reports, and documentation.

5. Accurate, reliable, proactive, and service-oriented personality with good verbal and written communication skills, a collaborative attitude, and a strong sense of responsibility.
