About BYD Auto Hungary

On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.

BYD Hungary is a subsidiary of BYD, which is an important part of BYD's international business in response to Hungarian customers and the whole European market. As an essential part of the new energy field, BYD's battery business opening up all linkes in the entire industrial chain of energy from harvesting to storage, to application.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the day-to-day operations of European third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses, including inventory management, order fulfilment and warehouse KPI monitoring.

• Establish and continuously improve warehouse operating standards to ensure inventory accuracy and delivery performance.

• Manage end-to-end logistics activities for customer projects involving residential energy storage and large-scale battery systems.

• Develop project plans, monitor implementation and coordinate internal functions and resources to ensure smooth project execution.

• Manage and evaluate 3PL supplier performance, monitor KPIs and coordinate monthly and quarterly operational reviews.

• Identify and manage operational risks across inventory, transportation, warehousing and delivery, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective action planning.

• Drive logistics cost-optimization initiatives across warehousing, transportation and packaging.

• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to support the successful delivery of European logistics projects.

Requirements

• Holds a Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.

• Has at least 3 years of experience in logistics operations or project management.

• Has a good understanding of European warehousing operations and 3PL management.

• Has fluent, professional-level English language skills.

• Is confident using SAP, WMS, TMS and Excel.

• Has strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills and is comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders and priorities.

• Works independently with a structured and results-oriented mindset.

Nice to have:

• experience in the automotive industry or a large-scale logistics environment;

• Chinese language skills;

• experience in international or cross-border logistics projects.
